earlier 2022, we’ve got a chance to step into, not just banking world, but a whole new, futuristic, almost surreal, universal digi-verse of tpbank – the leading-technology bank in vietnam.
the task was to rebranding a whole new philosophy for tpbank:
not only we understand our customers
(“vì chúng tôi hiểu bạn”)
but we’re also the bank of digital era
(“ngân hàng của kỷ nguyên số”)
challenge #1: must have tpbank’s products/services, must be branding.
challenge #2: no shooting real people.
challenge #3: “make it look digital“.
to demonstrate the digiverse, we all have our different pictures of what our future would look like, how technology would function this lifetime
how it’s already happening now, without us even realize
digital life is not the future. it’s not something out of a fictional movie or something to look forward to.
it’s right right here with us in the now.
while digging hard the future sense, we were diving back into the very core of everything: the dot – the atom.
the digiverse is portrayed in this direction through the simple dots.
the dots have a lot of connotations that can represent the digiverse:
-dot can be a single pixel.
-dot can be a single block in blockchain technology.
-dot can be a single light. its on/off nature represent binary.

as camera circles around the man, we see him mesmerized by the beautiful representation of the digiverse in front of him.
he reaches out to touch the matrix of dots, which also extends beyond the confinement of the frame to form a hand, reaching towards him.

as the two fingers touch (like the famous painting ‘Creation’), the man transforms into a million dots and gets sucked into the digiverse.
with a flare, we transition to next scene in the digiverse itself. camera takes the pov of the man as he travels inside the digiverse.

as camera travels deeper into that space, we see the dots form different visuals,
firstly a giant fingerprint, landing on a surface of dots.
camera continues, we see dots moving like sound wave.
continues forward, we see the dots forming a face.
